VINYL SWIPER MOBILE APP
VinylSwiper reimagines online vinyl discovery through a swipe-first mobile experience — letting collectors instantly hear, save, and buy records from independent stores worldwide with a single gesture.

How I approached the project
Online crate digging had become frustrating — scattered across store pages, endless filters, and zero listening before committing. I defined a swipe-first interaction model to bring back the spontaneity of flipping through a physical crate, adapted for modern mobile behaviour.
I designed a card-based discovery interface centred on large album artwork and instant audio playback — deliberately stripping away menus, search forms, and navigation layers. Every decision reduced cognitive load and kept users in the flow of discovering music.
I built the iOS app with multi-store inventory aggregation, real-time audio previews, and personal wishlist management — optimised for one-handed use and short discovery sessions during commutes or breaks.
Shipped VinylSwiper to the App Store alongside a companion website — establishing a coherent brand identity across both touchpoints and making it easy for vinyl collectors to find, download, and start discovering records immediately.
